I’ve had the good fortune of traveling to Ireland twice. It’s such a beautiful place with friendly people, and St. Patrick’s Day gives me an excuse to relive my adventures there. I’ve made several recipes for the holiday over the years, and I love that the day breaks up the spring doldrums. It pops up between the holiday season and before the weather really starts warming up here in Minnesota, and offers a fun excuse to wear green, spend a day as an honorary Irish person and eat some of these wonderful St. Patrick’s Day desserts.
